There are several reasons why Mr.Williams failed on his business.  First of all, the small music store is so far away from the shopping center and it is not conspicuous.  Therefore, it is not easy to find where the small music store is.  Secondly, the kinds of music in the shop was so simple that it was difficult to choose more.  Take me as an example, I like jazz music, but the store only offered hip-hop and rock, so I won't buy anythings in the shop.  In addition, many people would like to do their shopping on the weekends,but the shop only opened on Monday to Friday.  Most importanly, modern people always depend on using credit cards, but Mr.Williams refused to accept the customer to use their credit cards.  Hence, the customer will move to another shop where has credit cards service.  To sum up,  we should think twice when we want to start a business by ourselves.

Playing basketball and volleyball are my extracurricular activities.  In fact, volleyball and basketball are my favoriate sports. They are similar in many ways.  First, We play baketball with hands. Similarly, we play volleyball with our hands.  Secondly, if you have good jump ability, you should be good at playing volleyball.  Likewise, if you have good jump ability, you would play basketball easily that you even could slum dunk.  Third, you should practice your basketball skills everyday.  Without a doubt, you should pracitice more when you play volleyball, too.  Last but not the least, you should keep good attitude playing basketball and volleyball.  In short, volleyball and basketball are both good extracurricular activities, and they bring me a lot of fun.

There is a person whom I'd like to have an interview with, and he is called Zhi-jie-Lin.  He is a famous basketball player in Taiwan and I think I can learn a lot from him.  First of all, I want to ask him how to improve his basketball skills.  Because of his great skills, I think I can know some tips from him.  Secondly, I want to know how he solves problems when he is faced with difficulties.  In fact, playing basketball makes me not only tired but also frustrated.  Therefore, if I have this situation one day, I will solve it easily.  Last but not the least, I want to ask him how to keep good attitude when he do everything.  As a proverb says," Attitude is everything".  However, easier said than done.  I envy him that he can do everything with right attitude, espcially in the basketball game.  To sum up, Zhi-jie-Lin is a person who I have admiration for many reasons.  Moreover, I can learn a lot of things from him.

The new factory on Acton town will cause many effects which include positive effects and negative effects. First of all, the large factory will offer more jobs to people.  Therefore, the economics of growth are of great importance.  On the contrary, the factory will cause pollution.  It will effect the environment of Acton town.  In addition, it will offer more social places because there will be a lot of people moving to the Acton town.  But the Acton town will be more noisy than before.  In short, there are many effects when the new factory open in Acton town.  All we can do is to adapt this envirnoment.

In Taiwan, authorities still use the death penalty as a form of criminal punishment.  In my opinion, I agree with using the death penalty as a form of criminal punishment because it deters people from committing crimes.  However, those who are critical of this idea think that it is harsher to serve a life in prison.  Furthermore, I am on the same page as those who stand up for the death penalty.  The reason is that it makes criminals pay the ultimate price.  But opponents of this idea claim that it sometimes means killing an innocent person.  It is often argued that it is a punishment that cannot be changed.  However, I am in favor of using the death penalty as a form of criminal punishment.  Due to all of these reasons, one must conclude that I insist using the death penalty to punish ex-convict.

The schools in Taiwan, students must wear uniform when they go to school, or you will be punished for schools’ rules.  In my opinion, I disagree with wearing uniform when we go to school every day.  However, teachers are on the same page as those who agree with students should wear uniform in school.  Some are against that we can wear flexible clothes when we go to school.  But those who are critical of this idea think that students should follow schools’ rules and be normal.  Especially, I object to wear uniform when we go to school because I feel uncomfortable in summer.  The teachers are in favor of wearing uniform because students should keep good appearance.  While it is true that we still must wear uniform when we go to school, I believe that we shouldn’t wear uniform for as the time is changing, our opinion are different.

I have received two resumes, and I chose Debra Fine to be English Instructor in our school for following reasons.  First of all, Debra studied in BA English, McGill University from 1993 to 1997.  Besides, she also studied MA English, University of Toronto and PhD Linguistics, University of Pennsylvania.  However, Lynn only studied in BA Spanish, New York University.  Secondly, Debra is abundant in experience because she has worked at least eighteen years.  Unlike Debra, Lynn didn't has so much experience like her. Third, Debra also publicated English Verb Tenses, Shortman Publishing Company, 2006, but Lynn didn't do it.  Last but no least, Debra not only can teach English for students but also can teach how to swim for studens.  On the other hand, Lynn only can teach English for students.  To sum up, I expect that Debra Fine can do her best to let her student do well on their English abilities.
